Frequently Asked Questions Around Therapy

What is the intake process like at Psych Collective?

We start with a free 15-minute consultation to ensure we’re a good fit. From there, we schedule your first full session, where we’ll explore your goals, gather background information, and begin building a safe, supportive foundation for your healing journey.

Who do you work with?

At Psych Collective, we support individuals, couples, and families navigating a wide range of life experiences. Whether you’re facing grief, burnout, relationship challenges, identity shifts, anxiety, or simply seeking personal growth—we’re here to walk alongside you. We work with teens, young adults, and adults who are ready to explore, heal, and thrive. You don’t have to have it all figured out—just a willingness to begin.

Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?

Both. We offer sessions in our calming Coeur d’Alene office as well as secure virtual therapy for those who prefer to meet from home. Our goal is to provide flexibility while maintaining quality care and connection.

Why Consider Therapy, Even If You’re Not in Crisis?

Therapy isn’t just for when life feels overwhelming—it’s also a proactive choice for growth, clarity, and emotional well-being. People seek therapy for all kinds of reasons: navigating transitions, deepening self-awareness, improving relationships, or simply wanting a space to be heard. You don’t need to have it all figured out or be in crisis to benefit. Sometimes the most meaningful change happens when we give ourselves permission to slow down, reflect, and be supported.

The right care, the right connection—just for you.
